Rodrigo businessman sues Ghana Classic player Sulley Muntari, demands € 97,000 contract breach
Mr Rodrigo Renato Gianno, a businessman, has sued Hearts of Oak midfielder Sulley Ali Muntari.
A statement of claim was filed on March 21, 2022, by the businessman's lawyer, Kwadwo Gyasi Ntrakwah of Nttrakwah and Co.
The businessman demanded a payment of € 97,320 which the footballer refused to pay.
He then explained that between 2015 - 2017, former international player Sulley Muntari allowed him to book and pay for various plane tickets and his various hotels, family and friends.
Hearts of Oak midfielder Sulley Muntari allegedly neglected or refused to pay the businessman the prescribed fee.
According to businessman Gianno, checks issued by a footballer to pay for the alleged fees were not respected by banks. The footballer, he continues in his text, then admitted the debt to the businessman and promised to pay him,
The businessman says it hasn't happened yet, so he decides to seek legal redress.
Mr. Gianno claims to have sued a football player in Milan Court in 2019 and obtained a ruling in his favor.
But the money has not been paid by Muntari,
He
now wants the Supreme Court to rule that he is entitled to the amount he owes as well as the interest rate and general damages for breach of contract.
