A gas tank explosion has killed three people in Kogi




According to reports, at least three people were burned to death on Monday night when a petrol tank was full of flames after a brake broke in Lokoja, the capital of Kogi.



 The accident happened around 8pm, near Living Faith Church, Felele, near the busy Loja-Abuja Express highway, according to eyewitnesses.




According to reports, the ship, which was full of diesel, crashed into the slippery surface of the road when it hit the brakes, causing the truck to collide with another truck, a Dyna pickup truck.


 The commander of the Federal Road Safety Corps, Stephen Dawulung, told reporters in Lokoja on Tuesday that three people had been burned to death and two others who had been rescued from burns were taken to Federal Medical Center in Lokoja for medical treatment. in the cold, he said



Dawulung said the accident was caused by accidental driving. The ark was burned to the ground. A Dyna van parked on the side of the road and two other vehicles were also damaged in the blaze.




It was only after the fire subsided that FRSC staff conducted traffic control to remove the collateral.
