The driver of a Benz car slips into the river Boti and drowned, Ofoase-Ayerbi

A Benz car with registration number GW -9000-W driver died following an accident on the Oda-Ofoase-Ayerebi road on Monday afternoon.

According to reports, the driver (deceased) was driving on the road when he lost control of the steering wheel and slipped into the Boti River, heading for Akyem Oda.

The driver's inability to escape from the car, sadly lost his life due to drowning before being rescued by the public.

Accessible information, the deceased was reportedly a staff member of the Ghana Revenue Authority at Birem Central Municipal Assembly.

a man could not be saved if he had been redeemed earlier. According to people who were nearby when the vehicle skidded into the river, they could not jump into the river to help because they could not swim, according to eyewitnesses.

The body of the deceased has now been taken to Oda State Hospital for autopsy.
