A Bolgatanga traditional spiritualist from the Kolpelga District in the Talensi who has been accused of alleged killing his wife and daughter.
he pleaded not guilty to all charges.this was when after madam Priscilla Gyasi an Attorney, concluded after cross examination on the accused.
Mr. Justice Charles Adjei Wilson, the Regional Supervising High Court Judge, then remanded the accused and adjourned his case to 10-2022 May ,for the closing addresses after Tahiru , lawyer for the accused had nothing to conclude when examination was then closed.
The spiritualist was then charged on section of the Criminal Offenses Act code 1960, Act 29, for unlawfully causing the death of his his 25 ,year old wife, Talata Abigail and two-year -old daughter Nyapoka Mbawona and was also accused by the state on two counts of murder,he said
Mrs Gyasi, Prosecuter said on June 27- 2019, that the deceased woman had gone out of the house, was told by their son that the accused had killed his sister and sacrificed her to the gods,he added.
the deceased then bolt back to the house and saw the daughter , in a pool lying dead,she said
The Prosecution in charge said out of upset ,
The passed away and the accused pounced on her and hit her with an axe on the head, killing her in addition to their daughter,he added
an eyewitness who saw the incidence hid herself and watch the spiritualist closely killing deceased’s son and later alermed the police who came and arrested the accused person,State Attorney said
