Six people were killed in Khayelitsha, Cape Town
According to the report, six people were shot dead on Sunday night in another massacre in Khayelitsha, Cape Town.
Western Cape police spokeswoman Brigadier Novela Potelwa said police were called to the scene at the corner of Maphongwana and Idada Avenues at Site C just after 20:10.
A sixth man was taken to hospital but died on the spot.
Five unidentified men were shot dead at the scene.
Potelwa added: "Organized crime investigators are working hard, busy with the investigation which was started immediately. Details of the deceased are currently being determined. "
The victims are believed to be in their 30s, he said
This is the third mass murder in the area since March this year.
Six others were killed in Enkanini, five people were shot dead in Endlovini informal settlement in March and a few days later.
