According to the report, the Kwara State Police Command has
confirmed the arrest of a man identified only as Fatai and three of his friends for allegedly assaulting his girlfriend, whose name is only Aduke, on suspicion of
flirting.
Aduke (victim), a student at Bartholomew College of Health, Kwara State, was reportedly invited to Fatai's residence.
According to Aduke, when Aduke arrived at the house, he met Fatai and three of his friends,
who began questioning him.
The friends allegedly accused the graduate student of cheating, grabbed his hands and feet and beat him because they accused him of cheating.
Aduke reportedly took his status on WhatsApp, where he shared his grief and a video of the incident.
In an infected video clip, Fatai, with the help of his friends, stripped Aduke out of his trousers and whipped his buttocks with a stick, while he pleaded for mercy.
In another clip,
the deceased was seen with several security guards, including police and soldiers, who arrested the suspects.
The case has been reported and the suspects have been arrested. Four of them were taken to Shao, and an investigation is under way. ”
