The Aiyetoro High Court in Ogun sentenced one man, Adelake Bara, to death by hanging on Monday for shooting and killing Olaleye Oke, who accused him of having an affair with one of his three wives, according to reports, the court convicted Bara.

Delivering the verdict, Justice Patricia Oduniyi, said prosecutors had proved beyond doubt that Bara was guilty.
The suspect committed the crime on May 1, 2018, at around 6pm, at Afodan Farm Settlement, Ijoun, Aiyetoro area of Ogun State, state attorney, T.O Adeyemi, Senior Provincial Adviser, said.
The deceased was on his farm when Bara met him and accused him of having an affair with one of his wives, Adeyemi said.
he said, Bara with three wives pulled out a gun and shot Oke in the head, while the latter tried to explain that he was not in love with any of Bara's wives as he was accused.
