The boy finds the body of a woman who was killed in his bed
A 13-year-old boy found something horrible when he found the body of a neighbor in his bed at his home in Wakkerstroom, Mpumalanga.
The boy found the body of a 43-year-old woman, who worked as a clerk for the SA Police Service, around 8am on Monday, said Brigadier Selvy Mohlala.
The woman was known to the boy as a neighbor, Mohlala said
"He then reported the matter to an adult, who immediately reported it to the police, as well as medical personnel,
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
According to reports, police arrested the man, who is believed to be the last person to visit the woman at the house where her body was found.
The 34-year-old man has been charged with murder and is expected to appear in the Wakkerstroom Magistrate's Court on Wednesday.
Provincial police commissioner Lieutenant-General Semakaleng Daphney Manamela
condemned the incidents of violence against women as they continued to be harassed by their bodyguards.
Manamela said the situation of brutal killings of women by their spouses would not be allowed to continue like this. We must stop this and hope that the law will take action to deal with perpetrators,
