{Good News]: Accident in Abetifi as car crashes into shop, 10-year-old boy dies, five others are injured
According to the report, a Hyundai Creta vehicle, with registration number [GW 4826-20], crashed into a box shop in Abetifi, Kwahu East District, Eastern Region, killing a 10-year-old boy and injuring five others.
Currently, two (women) are being treated and released, but three others have been transferred to Kwahu Public Hospital for further treatment. All the injured were taken to Abetifi Health Center for treatment.
Mpumalanga Provincial Public Relations Officer, Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Ebenezer Tetteh, confirmed that the deceased, Emmanuel Atta Serebour Senior, had been pronounced dead on arrival.
The Mpumalanga District Police Liaison Officer said the body was placed in the morgue of Kwahu State Hospital for autopsy, "said.
Charles Appiah was driving from Abetifi to Pepease when a car veered off the road and entered a container shop. said DSP Tetteh.
DSP Tetteh said the vehicle was taken from the scene to the Abetifi police station but "the suspect was arrested by police to assist in the investigation," said DSP Tetteh.
