Blasphemous : videos of Sokoto protesting youths demand release of students arrested for blasphemy
According to reports, an invitation was sent to other youths urging all Muslim youth in the
province to come together for a peaceful protest to demand the release of detainees in connection with Thursday's incident.On Saturday morning,
some Muslim youths in Sokoto province came out in large numbers to protest against those who accused them of trying to help themselves and to do justice to the jungle by killing a female student on suspicion of blasphemy.The youths have called on the government and security agencies to immediately release those arrested for murder.
According to reports, the protest started in the vicinity of the Zabira shopping mall and then marched through Gao-nama and continued on a flyover inside the state capital.
