man kills his friend for demanding N1,500 Loan in Adamawa

According to reports, on June 7, a middle-aged man, Aliyu Hammanseyo, of Mubi North Local Government Area, Adamawa State, was jailed for allegedly stabbing his friend to death over N1,500.

The man, identified as Hammanseyo, appeared in the High Court, Yola, and was remanded in custody pending trial.

 Hammanseyo stabbed the victim, Bilham Babangida, with a knife, which led to the murder of the suspect on June 7, 2022, said police prosecutor ASP Francis Audu, who read the case papers before Magistrate Muhammed Abubakar, said.

The defendant admitted stabbing Bangangida in the chest during the investigation, adding

sheet of charges, the defendant owed Bangangida N1,500.

The victim was allegedly attacked while trying to withdraw money from a friend.

 The prosecutor then asked the court to adjourn Hammanseyo.

the case was adjourned until July 14, 2022, the Chief Magistrate, Muhammad Abubakar and ordered that the accused be reinstated.
