Nigerian Afrobeat singer Davido has awarded a Ghanaian boy who received A1 parallel in WAEC a full scholarship to Adeleke University in Nigeria.
The Afrobeat icon was searching for a talented Ghanaian scholar who collected nine impressive 'A1' from its West African Examination Council 2021 (WAEC).
The singer has made it clear he is ready to change Suleyman's life after it was discovered he could not continue his education due to financial problems, as he wrote on his Twitter page.
A few hours after the article was published, David confirmed that Morro Suleyman had arrived and was determined to change his life, he said.
Davido has confirmed that he is in contact with Ghanaian wonderkid Morro Suleyman on his Twitter page after pleading with his fans to help him find him.
Speaking on his Twitter account, Davido, the Nigerian musician, said the Ghanaian scholar would be receiving a scholarship from his family's Adeleke University. Also, a young person who excels in the 2021 WAEC exam will receive accommodation and a monthly stipend once he has moved to Nigeria, he added.
