Breaking: A kebbi boat mishap, Four brothers drown, and my father if four survived this mystery.
A mysterious incident happened on Wednesday as four siblings drowned but the father survived, one missing in a boat accident.
The bodies of four of my four siblings who were found were all mine, says the father;
One girl and three boys.
The last five is a boy and he is also my son.
The father of four, Musa Labaran, said the boat was carrying his family to his farm on the other side of the river a few meters from the community when the accident happened following strong winds.
The mysterious incident happened on Wednesday and another boat was not found after the boat carrying them, my father and two others who were crossing the river to their farm, landed in the Yauri area, kebbi.
The incident was caused by a strong wind when in the middle of the river the boat capsized. I managed to catch all five but it was a difficult moment until I grabbed my closest (girl) in an attempt to rescue. I was swimming towards the river bank but (the girl) also failed to catch me and all my attempts to catch her became a waste.
And his father Laban said; made strenuous efforts to save the fifth child when the ship turned, He was very sad,
Laban said: “All four of these bodies were found to belong to my children. Three boys and a girl. Fifth boy and he is my son too. Her body had not yet been found. ”he said
Mr Labaran's father said that although the city's rescue operations had begun immediately, it took some time for the bodies of four children to be removed from the river with the help of the community.
