The suspect, Emmanuel Boateng, reportedly killed a second-year Bachelor of Science student at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) after seduction. He took her to a place waiting to pay the debt he owed the deceased.
The incident happened on April 22, 2022 in Sewua in the Ashanti region. a student of level 200 and a man studying undergraduate was killed with his iPhone.
The suspect, Emmanuel Boateng, who pleaded guilty, is now in the custody of the District Police.
According to police, the deceased was a friend of the suspect.
According to Ashanti regional police liaison officer DSP Godwin Ahianyo, the suspect dragged the victim to a nearby forest and killed him.
According to the investigation, the suspect owed the deceased GHC 300 and was unable to pay it when the "deceased" came to claim his debt, killing him.
